Puppy Kindergarten- For Puppies
eight weeks to six months. Classes are six weeks long and cost $120.00.
New classes begin:

Novice - A class for dogs
that are over six months old with little or no training. You attend when it
is convenient for you and move through the different levels at your
own pace. Each class you attend is $25.00, or pre-pay six classes for $120.00 (a $30.00 savings). You have six months to complete the 6 classes. We are also offering an option of unlimited attendance for classes at your assigned novice level (1, 2, or 3), for $100.00 per month. An orientation is required before attending your first class.

Intermediate and Advanced - Open to those with instructor's approval. Each class attended is $20.00, or prepay six classes for $90.00 (a $30.00 savings). You have six months to complete the 6 classes. Please call before attending your first class.
Saturdays at 3:00pm and the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 8:15pm.
Agility - A fun sport to develop confidence in your dog. Give them mental stimulation, physical exercise, and increase the bond between owner and handler. Above the Puppy level, dogs must have completed the three levels of Novice classes or have instructor's approval. All levels of agility are now available for drop-in attendance; you have the option to pre-pay $120.00 for 6 classes, or $25.00 per class. If you have taken obedience classes elsewhere, I must talk to you before you attend your first class.

Special Agility Practice Sessions - held this summer on June 24th, July 15th and 29th, and August 12th and 26th. 7:00 to 9:00 pm. For dogs and handlers that are comfortable and familiar with all equipment and can safely navigate a course. An agility course will be set up where you will be able to work on your own, supervised by a qualified instructor in case you have any questions or would like input. You do not need to be a student of The Puppy Perfectors, these sessions are open to the public. You will need to call or email before you attend your first time. The fee is $15.00 per session. Cash or Checks only.
Drop-In Rally Practice Sessions - held this summer on July 22nd, and August 5th and 19th. 7:00 to 9:00 pm. For dogs and handlers that have already learned beginning Rally skills. A Rally course will be set up for your use. You do not need to be a student of The Puppy Perfectors, these sessions are open to the public. You will need to call or email before you attend your first time. The fee is $10.00 for two run-throughs of the course. Cash or Checks only.

Mon through
Fri, between 9am and 4:00pm - $85 for 1 hour or $95 for 1.5 hours. $300 for (4) 1 hour lessons if paid in advance; lessons must be completed within 3 months.
Mon through
Fri evenings, after 5pm - $95 for 1 hour or $105 for 1.5 hours. $350 for 4 lessons if paid in advance; lessons must be completed within 3 months.
Travel fee applies if outside West Seattle.
Orientation - Required before attending
drop-in classes. There is no charge and it is approximately one hour
in duration. Do not bring your dog but do bring proof of current vaccinations.
In the orientation you will gain an understanding of how the drop-in
format style works and the requirements for each class. You can fill
out all the necessary paperwork at orientation or download the registration
form in advance and bring it with you. No reservations required.

Class Information:
We have a variety of dog training classes for you to choose from. For more detailed information about each class, click on the links below. Starting dates for new classes, duration of classes, and fees are available on the Schedule & Fees page.
For puppies under 5½ months. Learn basic commands, encourage good manners, and develop important socialization skills with other dogs and people. Also good for older shy and fearful dogs.
For dogs (5½ months and older) with little or no training. This class is divided into 3 levels. Drop-in format.
For dogs that have completed all three levels of the Novice program or by instructor approval.
Dogs and owners navigate through a course of 10 to 20 stations, each station has a skill that the dog must perform.
A fun sport to develop confidence in your dog. Give them mental stimulation, physical exercise, and increase the bond between owner and hanuler.
A dog race with four dogs on a team. A fast-paced sport that is a great energy release for those high-drive dogs.
Sessions will concentrate on teaching you how to show your dog in the breed ring.
This class prepares you to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen® test.
