Our instructor, Barb Greene, is a life long West Seattle resident. She now operates a petsitting business in the area, residing in Arbor Heights. She has been involved with purebred dogs since 2003, beginning with an Australian Terrier. After acquiring her first Norfolk Terrier, Gabby, in 2005 she got "bitten" by the dog show bug and started showing Gabby, completing her championshp at the Rose City Classic in 2007 when Gabby was 18 months old. Barb is also the owner-handler of her male Norfolk, Scout. Scout finished last summer at 19 months old. Gabby has produced three litters of wonderful little boys, one of whom is now being shown in California. From her last litter last Thanksgiving, there is a show prospect living here in West Seattle. Barb is devoted to showing her dogs and helping dog show novices get off to the right start in The Fancy.
